A Note From Our Founder
I began my journey in Montreal with the opening of my nail salon Le Manoir in 2012.
Le Manoir was the birthplace of it all, and became renowned for impeccable artistry, custom gel colours and an unprecedented ability to grow and strengthen customers’ natural nails. I learned and listened to what my customers wanted. And I did things differently, focusing on not only providing the best manicure experience but also ensuring the health of my client’s natural nails. My signature manicure techniques, which I now teach through GELCARE, work to preserve the health of your natural nails. GELCARE was a dream born not only out of my experiences with customers but also my desire to push the nail industry forward and make the inaccessible accessible. With our hero product, the GELCARE Starter Kit, you are now free to become your own nail artist.
The Brand
We launched GELCARE, our in-house gel nail polish brand, on our salon website, LEMANOIR.com, in November 2019. The launch, and all launches thereafter, were informed by our extensive salon experience. Since then, we have grown from just offering gel polish to providing you with everything you need to achieve the perfect manicure and pedicure at home. We continue to evolve with our products, with a singular focus on providing the best in class. All our products are uniquely formulated by expert chemists in gel products and skincare to maximize efficacy while enhancing the beauty of your natural nails. Our dedicated 100% female team is always working on the cutting edge, pushing the nail industry for healthier and better products.
The Journey
From the beginning, I always wanted to change the way people do their nails—eliminate the inconvenience of salon appointments or the unsolvable annoyance of chipping one nail before an important event. My desire was to put you, as the consumer, in control. That chip? No problem - with GELCARE you are ready and able to fix it up before you head out. Anywhere, anytime, your nails are as ready as you are.
